RAD Fest Kickoff Party

Featuring the Grace Theisen Band

Join us for the official kickoff of RAD Fest 2024 at this event featuring live music from the Grace Theisen Band, food from Millennium Restaurant Group, cash bar, and more! You don’t want to miss this!

Tickets are $50/person and include a drink ticket, food, a special gift, and access to the 7 pm Michigan Made performance.

RAD HOP

Friday, March 1, 2024 5:00pm-7 pm

Epic Center

RAD Fest teams up with the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo to present RAD Hop at March’s Art Hop. Events will take place in multiple locations around the Epic Center located in downtown Kalamazoo and include live performances, film screenings, and the premier of the Movement Installation (see below for more).

LUNCH & LEARN: African Diasporic Dance with Tamara Williams

Saturday, March 2, 12 pm

Black Arts and Cultural Center, Epic Center

Williams will draw on her personal experience and research as an artist and scholar to illustrate how some African diaspora dance forms reach across cultures and continents. She will be joined by members of the Moving Spirits, Inc. Dance Company.

This event is FREE.
Boxed lunches can be pre-ordered for $15 when registering for RAD Fest.

Networking Cocktail hour

Join us for food and drinks while you connect with other artists at the Networking Cocktail Hour. Cost is $10/pp and includes one drink ticket, food, and fun!

After-Glow Reception

Epic Center 2nd Floor Atrium

Come mingle with the 2024 artists at the After Glow reception immediately following the 9:00pm Saturday performance. After Glow will feature a cash bar, DJ, dancing, and light food options.

Coffee Hour Discussion

The coffee hour discussion is a mediated discussion on all things dance. Patrons, RAD artists, community members, dance students, arts organizations and anyone else who is interested are welcome to attend and add to the discussion or just sit back and listen. Coffee and light breakfast items will be provided.
