Teresa Muller

Choreographer

A Michigan native, Teresa has received her training by attending intensives and workshops at River North Dance Chicago, Point Park University International Summer Dance, Project Dance NYC, Houston, Kansas City, & Detroit, The Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, and Dance Revolution. In 2010, Teresa graduated with honors from Marygrove College with a B.F.A. in Dance Performance on both academic and talent scholarship. During that time, she was the recipient of the Oldani Performing Arts Scholarship, as well as the Outstanding Dancer Award. Since graduation, Teresa has performed with multiple professional companies such as Dayton Contemporary Dance 2nd Company, Ad Deum Dance Company, Psophonia Dance, Pure Existence, and Contexture Dance Detroit. Teresa has presented works at multiple Detroit Dance Races, The Detroit Dance City Festival & the Midwest RAD Festival, performed works for the Brighton Dance Festival & Motor City Choreographers Collective, and helped to cultivate the inception of Project Dance Detroit in June of 2015. Teresa’s dance career has lead her to fulfill many opportunities such as music videos, missionary trips, television work, and choreography for musical artists & college dance degree programs. Currently, Teresa is completing her M.F.A. at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
