Megan has been dancing for over 13 years. In her early training, Megan danced competitively and was awarded many honors. She currently works as an instructor/choreographer at two studios in Michigan along with setting works for X2, Ann Arbor Dance Classics, and many young artists in Michigan. Megan recently graduated from Eastern Michigan University earning her BS in Studio Management. Throughout her years at EMU, she performed in four faculty concerts as well as a ballet opera in 2013 directed by Sherry Jerome-Wilkinson. Her senior year, Megan's work "Alluremen(o)t" was selected to perform at the adjudicated concert at ACDA. Megan's work was also performed as a solo for a dance film in 2016 titled "Conclave" directed by Joanna McNamara. Along with training and performing at EMU, Megan has performed with Pure Existence since it's premiere in 2012. Additionally, Megan serves as the Associate Artistic Director of the company and began directing the pre-professional company, X2, in 2016. Megan has also performed at several Detroit Dance Races, Oakland Dance Festival's, and other various showcases throughout the midwest. Megan loves to see the dance community in Michigan thrive and enjoys being part of it.
