Madeline Williamson/Maia Sutter
Madeline Williamson graduated from Indiana University in 2016 with a B.S. in contemporary dance and kinesiology. While at IU she performed works by Hubbard Street 2, Angie Hauser, Elizabeth Shea, and more. She has attended numerous workshops and master classes including those with Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Kathleen Hermesdorf, Abraham.In.Motion, and Dance Kaleidoscope. Madeline has taught modern dance, ballet, and Pilates for local studios and non-profit organizations, as well as at private and public schools. In 2016 she was awarded the Jane Fox Service Award for her work teaching and choreographing for Windfall Dancers, a non-profit dance school and company in Bloomington, Indiana. Madeline is currently teaching a variety of styles and levels at Children’s Dance Workshop in South Bend, Indiana. Maia Sutter began dancing in creative movement classes as a small child and fell in love with the potential that lay in movement. While modern remains her first love, she began her ballet training in Israel and has since explored a number of other styles, including tap, swing, ballroom, and jazz. For the past two years, she has also added aerial arts into her repertoire, training on both silks and lyra, additionally she is in her first season with Fischer Dance, a dance theater company based in South Bend, Indiana. Maia is currently a senior at Indiana University South Bend, studying French, Dance, and Computer Programming.
